Creates cloud servers for your customers in your own Hetzner project, and gives them a server panel in their portal: power (start, shut down, restart, force off), the address and size, outgoing traffic, a browser console, root password reset, reinstall and snapshots.
What you need
- A Hetzner Cloud project for the servers you sell.
- An API token for it with Read & Write: Hetzner Cloud Console → your project → Security → API tokens.
Set it up
Add it first: under Admin → Products → Modules, open the Library tab and choose Add on Hetzner Cloud.
- Choose Configure on Hetzner Cloud and add a connection with the API token. It is stored encrypted and shown as
********afterwards. One connection is one project. - Choose Test connection: it lists the project's locations.
- Create a product with the family Server and the module Hetzner Cloud, then choose its server type, image (for example
ubuntu-24.04), location and how many snapshots the customer may keep. Detect Hetzner Cloud plans reads the project's server types and can turn each into a product in a Servers category.
What it does for you
- A paid order creates the server and emails the customer its address and root password.
- An unpaid renewal shuts the server down; paying starts it again. Servers are never deleted automatically — the disk and the address stay while it is suspended.
- Customers start, stop and restart their server, open its console in the browser, reset the root password, reinstall it from an operating system or a snapshot, and take snapshots up to the limit you set.
Snapshots and traffic beyond the included amount are billed to your Hetzner project.
To sell backups, create an add-on under Products → Add-ons with the effect *Hetzner Cloud: Daily backups*: they are switched on when the add-on is paid and off when it ends.
On your public API
If you build your own portal on Teculiar's public API, a customer's server can be powered on, rebooted, shut down and powered off there (POST /services/:id/actions/<action>, an API key with services:manage). A new root password, the console, rebuilds and snapshots stay in the panel.
When it is switched off
Server orders are still billed, but no server is created, shut down or started: each waits for you to handle it in the Hetzner console. The panel disappears from your customers' portal. Nothing is deleted; switching the module back on resumes automation.
Troubleshooting
- Test connection says the token is invalid: the token was deleted, or it is read-only.
- An order fails with "unsupported location": that server type is not offered in the product's location — pick another location.
- Orders stay "waiting for you": the module is off or has no connection.
