1. Who is responsible

Bijan Sabbagh Sani Azad, Dezhost (Einzelunternehmen), Kottbusser Straße 4, 10999 Berlin, Germany. Teculiar is our brand. Email: info@teculiar.com. Website: teculiar.com. We are the controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the data described here.

Your own system at yourname.teculiar.net is different: there, you are the controller for your customers' data and we process it on your behalf.

2. What we collect

Only what you give us when you order, sign in or write to us:

  • Name, address and email address
  • Billing details and the invoices we issue
  • Your messages to us, such as tickets and the contact form
  • Technical data such as your IP address, browser and operating system, which appear in the server logs

We use it to make the contract work, to bill, to support you and to keep the service secure. The legal basis is the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), our legal duties such as tax records (Art. 6(1)(c)) and our interest in a secure service (Art. 6(1)(f)).

3. Hosting

Our website and systems run on servers in Germany. The hosting provider processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).

4. Payments

We use external payment providers (PayPal, and Mollie for cards and SEPA Direct Debit). They receive what they need to process your payment, such as your name, billing address, amount and method. We don't store full card numbers, only references that let us match a payment to an invoice. Each provider's own privacy policy also applies.

5. Email

We send the emails that belong to your contract: order confirmations, invoices, reminders and sign-in details. We don't send advertising unless you asked for it.

6. Cookies

This website uses only cookies and similar storage that it needs to work, such as your language and currency choice and your sign-in. We use no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies.

7. Who else gets data

Only when it is needed to fulfil the contract (for example payment processing), when the law requires it, or when you agreed.

8. How long we keep it

As long as the contract runs and as long as the law requires. Invoices are kept for the statutory retention period. A cancelled system is kept disabled for 90 days, then we ask before anything is deleted.

9. Your rights

You can ask for access (Art. 15 GDPR), correction (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), a portable copy (Art. 20) and you can object (Art. 21). Write to info@teculiar.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority, such as the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.

10. Security

Connections are encrypted with TLS. Keys you give us are sealed when you save them. Staff actions in your system are logged.

11. Changes

We update this policy when the law or the product changes. The current version is always on this page.
